Success in MLM is all about mindset and so I am constantly on the look-out for ways to keep what I want, top of mind. And not long ago I realized the power of questioning in general, and specifically, asking better questions.I’m a mom, and so my kids are always asking me “But why can’t we do/have/go ________??” And then I ask them, “Do you really want an answer to that question? I then remind them they need to ask better questions. Quesitons that they actually want an answer to.

3 Ideas for Creating Content for your MLM WordPress Blog

Some days creating content for my MLM blog is easier than others. But a blog without content is like a book without pages. And for an Internet network marketer, not posting to your blog regularly is not an option. So here are 3 ideas that can help you remain consistent while you wait for the magic of your sustained efforts to kick in.

A quick aside – If that sounds daunting, keep in mind that the only other (inexpensive) ways to generate leads and sponsor people into your network marketing home business are by making your list, buying names, offline advertising, cold calling….all perfectly legit, mind you, but this blog is for people like me who want to primarily use the Internet to build their team.

MLM leaders think about what they have to offer to the people they will sponsor. Yes, they think about this before they even sponsor anyone.

If there is a secret to this leadership stuff, it would be looking within. There is something about you that only you can share with others. Your energy has value, your life experiences, your knowledge about _______. When you put that energy out there for others to find and benefit from, that’s how you earn what comes your way.

I just got an email from a friend who dislikes MLM. Ironically, she asked me to look at a new MLM that offers some organic foods, which she and I are both into. Her request was: “See what you think as an MLM lover and an organic food lover.”

I haven’t written back yet, but the funny thing is that I came up with the title of this post yesterday, while reading “Crush It!” by Gary Vaynerchuk. So I was turning this idea over in my head before I ever read her email.

I Failed At MLM Because…

I still remember being about four years old and not understanding how my family members couldn’t see how amazing we each were, just because we were. As small children we have a knowing that everyone is awesome in some way, that we are all worthy and talented in some way, that we eventually lose as we grow. What’s Your MLM Story?

Every time I hear an Internet network marketer speak about how they get daily “auotmagic” signups in their primary MLM, and in their funded proposals (am I the only one who thinks that’s the weirdest phrase ever?), and that commissions are rolling in so fast they couldn’t stop ‘em if they wanted to, I require a moment.

With this moment I remember that it wasn’t always this way for these, er these um, blackbelts? Maybe. How about rockstars? Yeah that’s good, but no, I know I can do better….

What Do You Believe About Success in MLM?

I don’t think Albert Einstein was in MLM, but I know he said that we can’t solve a problem with the same level of thinking (aka, believing) that created it. So if that’s true (more reasons than one not to argue with Einstein, eh?) we have to examine our thinking, and in particular, examine our beliefs which lead to what we habitually think, and figure out if they are worth holding onto.

Another option is to keep doing the same things over and over, and expecting different results, but since that is the definition of insanity, I’m not recommending it. So if you’re not getting the results you want, then you are going to have to change something, agreed?

Can You Close The MLM Leads You Generate Online?

Let’s say you are generating 100 MLM leads a day with your blog. How many of them can you close?

By close them I mean you must be able to lead them to:

A- make decision to buy (into your MLM opportunity and you) that they then,
B – actually complete!

If they don’t make the buying decision and actually complete the transaction where money changes hands, you make nothing from your efforts no matter how cool your blog is, or how good at using technology you become. Mastering technology is optional for MLM success. Mastering closing is not.
