My sponsor in my MLM company, whose blog gets well over a million hits per month these days, hosted a WordPress blogging webinar last night that I wish you could have been in on. I know a lot of network marketers are online, building WordPress blogs, and hoping that will be the “golden ticket” to their success in their particular MLM.
I learned a little something last night that I hadn’t considered before, several things actually, but today I want to share the 3 “should nots” regarding your MLM blog that you really have to understand now, before you post your next blog.
Have you heard this story of “Sowing and Reaping” by the late MLM legend, Mr. Jim Rohn? I have it on disk and just found it today on YouTube. It is one of those recordings that everyone in MLM and network marketing MUST listen to over and over. It can help you to understand the futile activities that you can be engaged in, which make you think you are working toward your goals, while in reality you are just “chasing birds”.
If MLM prospecting success alludes you, or your business is in a slump, or maybe all of your personally sponsored reps quit in the same month…any number of things can happen in network marketing to make you feel hopeless. Like maybe you made a mistake to get involved to begin with.
When that happens, you need to watch something like this to remember the power of your dream and to rekindle your determination. The people you can help are still out there looking! Don’t let them down.

MLM can be one of the most challenging industries to get a foothold in. Those who make it teach that it is more about mindset than anything else, but you will be tempted to think otherwise. “If only that person were different…if only I had a better sponsor…if only the comp plan was more fair….”
Thing is, if anyone is succeeding in your MLM company, then YOU can, too. If you are not, look in the mirror. Look inside. What is it that you have to face before you will allow yourself to have the success you deserve?
MLM leaders think about what they have to offer to the people they will sponsor. Yes, they think about this before they even sponsor anyone.
If there is a secret to this leadership stuff, it would be looking within. There is something about you that only you can share with others. Your energy has value, your life experiences, your knowledge about _______. When you put that energy out there for others to find and benefit from, that’s how you earn what comes your way.
